Admission
Individuals
- - Adult: ¥400
- - Over 65: ¥200
- - University Students (including trade schools, etc.): ¥320
- - Junior and Senior High School Students (from outside Tokyo): ¥200
Groups
- - Adult: ¥320
- - Over 65: ¥160
- - University Students (including trade schools, etc.): ¥250
- - Junior and Senior High School Students (from outside Tokyo): ¥160
Admission discounts and exemptions
- - Children elementary age and younger, and junior high school students who reside in or attend school in Tokyo are admitted for free.
- - The third Wednesday of each month is Silver Day, and people age 65 and over are admitted free of charge. (Proof of age is required.) *This has been cancelled for the time being.
- - The third Saturday and Sunday of each month are Family Days, and Tokyo resident guardians together with children under age 18 are admitted to the facilities and garden for half price. *This has been cancelled for the time being.

- Students of schools that are partnership members of
the Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and
Culture can use the admission fee benefit system.
Students show their student ID and mention that they
are a student at a member school to get the reduced
price.

Booking as a group
- - There is a 20% discount for groups of 20 or more paying visitors.
- - Elementary, junior and senior high school students and their chaperones visiting for educational purposes may enter for free. (Prior authorization is required.)

Written Communication
Writing tools are available at the information counter inside the visitor's center.
Sign Language Interpreting
A Japanese Sign Language interpreter is available at the information counter inside the visitor's center.
Braille Guidebook
Available at the information counter inside the visitor's center to borrow free of charge.
Tactile Scale Models
Some of the buildings in the collection have tactile scale models of both the shape (the outside) and the layout (the inside) on display inside the visitor's center and other locations.

- All of these devices can be used to enter and view
the museum
*May be unable to enter some buildings.
*Baby carriage users are asked to leave them at the entrance before entering buildings - - Some of the buildings have a second floor accessible by elevator.
- - Depending on the building, slopes or other accessibility aids are installed in the entrances.
- - Wheelchairs and baby carriages are available to borrow free of charge. Ask at the information desk inside the visitor's center. (a limited number are available)
Service dogs for people with physical disabilities (guide dogs, mobility assistance dogs, hearing dogs)
Infants
- - A nursing room is located in the visitor's center in front of the exhibition room. Hot water for preparing formula is not available.
- - Diaper changing facilities are available in eight locations (Women's restroom, the Old Warehouse-style Rest House, House of Georg de Lalande universal restroom, and nursing room).
Universal restrooms
- - There are six universal restrooms.
- - Restrooms with ostomate facilities and a large bed installed (Visitor's center, House of Georg de Lalande)
- - Restrooms with a baby chair (Police Box at the Mansei Bridge, Entrance Square, Women's restroom in the Residence of Hachirouemon Mitsui, Old Warehouse-style Rest House, House of Georg de Lalande)
- - Restrooms with a diaper changing table (Women's restroom in the visitor's center, Old Warehouse-style Rest House)
First aid rooms
There is one located near the information desk in the visitor's center.
Universal Guide
This pamphlet is meant to offer facility information for people with disabilities, seniors, people who use baby carriages, and other people with accessibility needs. It is a summary of information to support everyone's full enjoyment of the facilities.

Access Information for various methods of transportation
Train
Five minutes by bus from north exit of JR Chuo Line Musashi-Koganei Station
Take Seibu Bus from bus stop 2 or 3, get off at Koganei Koen Nishiguchi, then walk five minutes.

- Bus stop 2: Take 武12 (bound for Higashi-kurume Station, via Onari-bashi) or 武13 (bound for Kiyose Station South Exit)
- Bus stop 3: 武21 (bound for Higashi-kurume Station via Kinjo High School) or 武15(bound for Seibu Bus Takiyama Office)
Kanto Bus: Get on at bus stop 4, and get off at Edo Tokyo Tatemono-en Mae," then walk three minutes.

Bus stop 4: 鷹33 (to Mitaka Station/Musashino Eigyo-sho)
*Bus stop 4 is in front of Mega Don Quijote.
*There aren't many buses per day, so check the timetable
in advance.
Six minutes by bus from north exit of JR Chuo Line Higashi Koganei Station
Take the 北東部循環 bus from the CoCo Bus (Koganei City Community Bus) bus stop, and get off at Tatemono-en Iriguchi. Walk 10 minutes.

Five minutes by bus from the south exit of Seibu Shinjuku Line Hana-Koganei Station
Seibu Bus: Get on the bus bound for Musashi Koganei Station at Minami Hana-Koganei bus stop located on Koganei Kaido street, and get off at Koganei Koen Nishiguchi and walk for five minutes.

Minami Hana-Koganei bus stop: 武12 武13 武14 武15 武21(Musashi Koganei Station)
*The 武 17 listed on the timetable does not stop at
Koganei Koen Nishiguchi, so don't take that one.
*The Minami Hana-Koganei bus stop can be reached by
exiting the south exit of Hana-Koganei Station and
walking for five minutes to the right along the bicycle
path to the street, where it is on the right.
Bus
There is a direct bus (limousine bus) from Haneda Airport to Musashi Koganei Station.
The limousine bus runs from early morning to evening on the hour from the Haneda International Terminal, Terminal 1, and Terminal 2, directly to the south exit of JR Chuo Line Musashi Koganei Station.
- - Time required: Approx. 65 to 140 minutes
- - One-way: Adults ¥1,470, Children ¥740

The limousine bus stops at the south exit of JR Chuo Line Musashi Koganei Station. Use the passageway to go to the north exit, and take a Seibu bus from bus stops 2 or 3, and get off at Koganei Koen Nishiguchi, then walk for five minutes.
Car
Parking Lot
Visitors with a car may use the Koganei Park paid
parking lot (Parking Lot 1).
*On weekends and holidays the traffic is usually
congested and the parking lot fills up quickly. Taking
public transportation is highly recommended.
Enter the park from the Koganei Park traffic light along Itsukaichi Kaido. Once in the parking lot, park at the end furthest from the entrance, as it is closest to the museum.

- - Passenger car: ¥300 per hour (¥100 per additional 20 minutes)
- - Large vehicle: ¥2,000 per two hours (¥500 per additional 30 minutes)
