Written Communication

Staff can communicate using written communication.

Wheelchairs can be borrowed free of charge. They are available in limited numbers so call the Sales Promotion Section +81(0)3-3828-2111 in advance.

Service dogs are welcome in the building, but please contact the organizer in advance about specific performances.

• - There are diaper changing tables and baby chairs in the first floor women's restroom and the universal restroom.
• - Depending on the performance, there may be an age restriction, so contact the organizer in advance. There are also performances and workshops especially for children, so ask the organizer.
• - The childcare room can only be used when it is made available by the organizer. For details on available services, contact the organizer.

There are two universal restrooms in the entrance lobby (include ostomate facilities, diaper changing table, multipurpose bed, and baby chair)

• - One minute on foot from the Park Exit of JR Ueno Station.
  Ueno Station can be reached via: Yamanote Line, Keihin-Tohoku Line, Joban-Narita Line, Joban Line, Takasaki Line, Tohoku Main Line, Tohoku-Hokkaido Shinkansen, Akita Shinkansen, Yamagata Shinkansen, Joetsu Shinkansen, Hokuriku Shinkansen.
• - Five minutes on foot from No. 7 exit of Tokyo Metro Ueno Station.
• - Seven minutes on foot from the main exit of Keisei Ueno Station.

Take the Ueno ramp exit from the Shuto Expressway Inner Circular Route.

*To visitors coming by car:
Tokyo Bunka Kaikan does not have a parking lot for visitors. Please use paid parking nearby. However, the Ueno Park area gets very congested on weekends and holidays, so public transportation is recommended.
