Admission
Admission fees change depending on the exhibition.

Garden admission fees:
Adults: ¥200 (¥160), University Students (including
trade school students) ¥160 (¥120), Junior & Senior High
School Students / People aged 65+ ¥100 (¥80)
( ) = In groups of 20 or more.
Admission discounts and exemptions
- - Children elementary age and younger, and junior high school students who reside in or attend school in Tokyo are admitted for free.
- - The third Wednesday of each month is Silver Day, and people age 65 and over are admitted free of charge. (Proof of age is required.) *This has been cancelled for the time being.
- - The third Saturday and Sunday of each month are Family Days, and Tokyo resident guardians together with children under age 18 are admitted to the facilities and garden for half price. *This has been cancelled for the time being.

- Students of schools that are partnership members of
the Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and
Culture can use the admission fee benefit system.
Students show their student ID and mention that they
are a student at a member school to get the reduced
price.

Booking as a group
-There is a 20% discount for groups of 20 or more paying
visitors.

Information accessibility support
Written communication
Staff can communicate via written communication. Feel free to ask.
Wheelchairs, baby carriages, canes, rolling walkers
- - Visitors are asked to refrain from using baby carriages and rolling walkers inside the building.
- - The second floor of the main building can be accessed via elevator.
- - A portion of the garden has a barrier-free path
- - Wheelchairs are available to borrow for free. Ask the reception staff. (There are a limited number available)
Service dogs for people with physical disabilities (guide dogs, mobility assistance dogs, hearing dogs)
Infants
- - Diaper changing tables are available in the universal restrooms in the first floors of the main building and annex. Baby chairs are available in the universal restrooms in the annex and garden.
- - A nursing room is available on the first floor of the main building. Ask staff in order to use it.
- - In order to protect the artwork and architecture, visitors are asked to refrain from using baby carriages and rolling walkers inside. Please be prepared to carry children who cannot walk. *Baby carriages and rolling walkers can be left at the reception desk.
Universal restrooms
- - Universal restrooms are located on the first floors of the main building and annex, and in the garden.
- - They have support for wheelchairs, ostomates, and diaper changes.
- - The universal restrooms in the annex and garden also have a baby chair.
First aid rooms
There is a first aid room on the first floor of the main building. People who feel unwell can ask to be shown to the first aid room.

This pamphlet is meant to offer facility information for people with disabilities, seniors, people who use baby carriages, and other people with accessibility needs. It is a summary of information to support everyone's full enjoyment of the facilities.

Access Information for various methods of transportation
Train
Via JR or Tokyu Railways
Seven minutes on foot from the main exit of Meguro Station on Tokyu Meguro Line, or the east exit of Meguro Station on the JR Yamanote Line.
Via subway
Six minutes on foot from Exit 1 of Shirokanedai Station
on the Toei Mita Line or Tokyo Metro Nanboku Line.
*There is an elevator at Exit 2 of Shirokanedai Station.
Bus
- Three minutes on foot from Shirokanedai 5-chome bus stop
Car
There is a parking lot (paid) available on the grounds
of the museum.
A guard at the main gate will show the way.
*Visitors who are only coming to eat at the restaurant
are asked to refrain from using the parking lot.
Fee: Standard Car - ¥1,500 flat rate.
*Bus reservations are made in concert with group reservations. Fill out the Bus Parking Lot Reservation Application Form (in Japanese) and apply by fax.
