"Is it alright to go to an art museum with a baby?" "I want to visit someplace new!"

If you're in a family with a baby and have the above thoughts, these programs are for you! They are held on days when the museum is closed to the public so participants can enjoy the exhibits without hesitation. Ordinarily, strollers are not allowed in the main building, but they are permitted during these special programs.

This year, in addition to the annual tour, a special Baby Day is planned for this summer.

*Programming may be cancelled depending on the state of the pandemic. Thank you for understanding.

Baby and Me Museum Tour
Art communicators will support visitors with navigating steps and narrow passages while accompanying them in viewing the exhibitions. They will chat with participants about their impressions of the art, keep an eye on the babies, and let the tour unfold at each family's pace, allowing families time to soak up the art as well as to just spend time with their babies in the museum.

Baby Day: A special access day for babies and their families
On a day when the museum is closed to the public, it will be opened just for babies and their families for one day: "Baby Day" so they can take their time and enjoy Mika Ninagawa's "A Garden of Flickering Lights" exhibition. Siblings on summer vacation are also welcome.
